|
On August 6, 2005, Rebecca was crowned the first Miss Apple Valley
winner, and being Miss Ulster County 2003, she is now the
third two time winner in Ulster County. Rebecca's platform is: "Youth in Action: Community Service through Character Education". Her display of talent was Ballet on pointe, performing "Hallelujah", by Rufus Wainright, from the soundtrack, "Shrek". |
|
Rebecca studied ballet at Saugerties Ballet Center and was often a featured dancer in productions of the Ulster Ballet Company including numerous annual performances of "A Christmas Carol" at UPAC's Broadway Theater.
After majoring in Dance at Adelphi University, Rebecca graduated from Ulster County Community College majoring in individual studies with a concentration in business. Rebecca is now attending Marist College and seeking a Bachelor of Professional Study Degree majoring in Fashion Merchandising.
Rebecca's parents are Dr. Richard & Lisa Kappler.
